The mandate of Waniska Indigenous Knowledge Circle is to record, preserve and disseminate traditional cultural knowledge of Indigenous peoples.

We will assist communities and individuals in the creation and development of materials relating to Indigenous language retention, traditional activities, history, plant lore, ethnobiology, traditional diet and aspirations of Indigenous individuals, organizations and communities in order to improve the condition of the lives of Indigenous peoples.
